Time Travelling in the Northern Irish Countryside

Time Travelling in the Northern Irish Countryside is a map commissioned by Dr Alan Kennedy-Asser as part of his participatory project exploring rural climate change with young people and Climate Northern Ireland. 

Alan worked with storyteller Liz Weir to create a story through story telling workshops with the young people, and this map illustrates some snippets from the stories showing the rural, stories and reality of climate impacts in the area - from folk tales, to fairy trees, slurry spreading and tourist buses.
