Sensory Observation Cards

These Sensory Observation Cards were created for research project Sensing Spaces of Healthcare led by Dr Victoria Bates at the University of Bristol and Southmead Hospital. 

The cards were designed to prompt mindful exploration of clinical environments for patients, staff and designers, drawing attention to our sensory experience of hospitals and how we use medical spaces with suggestions for exercises and responses to these varied themes.

The cards are a standard card sized deck of 30 cards, including 3 blank cards for users to add their own sensory prompts.
